so my gf is driving me and a team mate to the event on sunday

are the pits closed or are they open for people to walk around in?

and will she have to drop us off then wait to 9 am then be able to park or will she be able to park when she drops us off?

You will have to coordinate with your team about cars but if she is part of your team staff (ill get to that in a minute) she would be able to at least park her car up top and ride with another down or meet more of your teammates there and load more and be one of your limited cars below (i think its 2 cars for 3 and 5man teams and 3 cars for xball and 7man teams).

As far as pits, I see you say sunday so youre playing 5man or 7man which wont have any "pits" in use that I am aware of. There is the staging area covered and she will certainly be allowed there but otherwise she will be limited to spectator areas. If you meant Saturday and youre XBall, she would need to be on your APPA roster as staff and get an ID.
