09 Impulse on/off leak

When i gas it up, it seems to be leaking a lot from the on/off.

Also, the power botton padding (the rubber part) pushes out.

Any help would be great

I don't know anything about the 09 but when my original impulse was leaking from its asa, it turned out my tank o-ring was bad. Maybe check your tank o-ring? Sorry hopefully someone with experience for the 09 will come help you out better.

check the orings within the grip... chances are the bottom ORN01170BU hpr oring (closest to the asa) is too swollen...

if its not the tank o-ring then the oring seth said is most likely swollen, cracked/shot. or misaligned.

SCRATCH what I said earlier... I replicated your problem on one of my guns...
Figure 26 on Page 22 of the manual... one of your orings in your hpr is snagged or stuck... replace and lube it, also check the regulator piston seat (it's the clear peg that is behind the piston), if it's worn replace that as well otherwise you problem will come back at a later time.

USER RECCOMMENDATION: once you fix and set the fps don't touch it ever again (treat it as if it's permanent) that way you wont have to worry about it coming back for a longer while...

Why do you guys go straight to the hard options...start simple.

Unscrew your on/off knob all the way. Replace and lube the o-ring. Check for burrs in the front of the ASA. If it's not leaking there, take your ASA off and make sure those o-rings are set properly and lubed and then put your ASA back on and make sure the screws are tight, but don't strip your grip frame.

Some common problems that have been noticed regarding this exact problem were, a metal burr inside the front of the ASA cutting the o-ring on the on/off knob, and the screws on the ASA loosening and then causing a leak between the ASA and grip frame. If you experience that problem, put a drop of blue locktite on your screw threads when you re-install the ASA.

You guys over complicate things.
