This is my first geo, but i've had countless ego's and they never really got too much gunk in the eye holes.
At first I thought it was related to the reball I was shooting, but I stopped going to reball and started playing outdoors again with real paint, ang they would still get gunked up around the eyes and detents.
This is annoying because the eyes default and run 10bps.
it's probably lube from over lubing the bolt. Just use less lube next time, just use a light coating and don't glob it on. Hope that helps.
what he said. geo needs very thin lube. also make sure your bolt oring is as dry as possible. good to wipe it dry before popping it back into the gun after servicing.
^ agreed you barley need any lube at all on the bolt. For mine I just put on enough so the orings look wet. Ive never had a problem or a gunk expierience. Remeber don't lube the bolt front oring #.13
Well, I had only serviced the gun once. I will no longer lube the bolt, as you suggested.
lube the bolt, just not the front bolt oring. that's the oring the passes the eyes when the gun cycles, so if your eyes are getting gunked that's the probable culprit.
