Just had my PE 45/4500 hydro tested and cleaned. when i got it back i found the reg was not secure and could be loosened by hand. what do you reccomend i do to secure the reg to the tank and prevent it from unthreading ?

Hi,
I was wondering if these lines on the tank are cracks. I bought this tank from another PBNer and there conveniently was a sticker over this. The 'crack' seems to be underneath the finish because the finish feels fine.
There is also a pimple which looks like it's from too much of the finish build up.
Should I be worried by any of this? Thanks!

I have a 68/4500 pure energy tank. I took it in to get hydro tested and they broke the regulator trying to get it off. They said it was put on with lock tite. So they basically told me my tank is ruined. What can I do in this situation?

I have an invert 56/4500 tank. the clear coat around the tank is chipping off in some places. would it be possible to send it in to get redone? if so how much would it cost?

I heard for a few local shops that the ultra 56/45 was recalled and thats why they are not any instock anywhere. Is this true? If so what should people who have them do?
Also when do you think they will be back instock in stores?

Depending on your location we maybe able to replace for you. Normally we only deal with tanks that are in their First Hydro date. However we understand that its not your fault that someone else broke your tank. Please email us at tech@paintballsolutions.com with the following info;
Name,
Phone Number,
Shipping Address,
Requesting RMA for Replacement tank.

As stated in the above the tank must be with in the First Hydro date. That being said As long as your tank is in the first Hydro Date the please follow the instructions above so we can replace your tank as well.

They have not been Officially recalled at this point that I know of. However we have seen a few that the outside coating cracks extremely easy after one or two fills. But its not anything to be scared of its just the outside clear coat. As for what can be done we can replace the tank but it will not be an Ultra.

My tank is not within the first hydro. However I would pay for the tank to be re-coated if possible?

For us to do anything with a tank it has to be in Hydro or at least re-hydro. We consider cracks tanks to be a manufacturer defect and we will do what we can to replace them. Please follow the above steps to solve this for you.

Hi, i have an older PMI Reactor 2 tank reg (one of the nickel and baby blue ones) that is a 3k psi reg.
Will i be able to use this safely as a 4.5k reg if i were to switch the 5k burst disk for a 7.5k disk?
thank you!

I beleive that the Reactor 2 was only a 4.5k Reg. Also DO NOT exchange the burst discs out. They are there for safety

To clarify this would be going on a 4.5k bottle if that makes a difference.

From what I can understand is that you are trying to put a 3k Reg on 4.5K tank Correct??? I would not recommend that this be don't. The issues is that if you went to a field that filled to the 4.5K Limit and only went off what the bottle said it can make the Reg Over Pressurize and cause it to leak extremely bad. You would then have to purchase a new Reg.

I have a tank less than 6 months old, and its cracked everywhere on the tank minus the reg.
68i/4500
I believe there was a recall on certain serial numbers on them, but I am not sure if mine falls into that category.
I can provide a serial number tonight if needed and pictures as I assume that would be needed as well.
What other information do you need besides serial number and pictures which I can send tonight
