hey, i just got an empire 56/45 off of one of guys here and he failed to mention that there was a quarter size chip on the side of the tank. the fibers have not been damaged, but you can clearly see that the paint layer and the clear protective layer are gone. is there anyway this can be repaired or is this even still safe to use? this is my third 56/45 and really don't want to lose it
thanks

Are their still rebuild kits available for Evil HPA tanks?
I have a 88/5000 tank that has a slight leak from the valve pin on the reg. Before Evil was sold they sent me a rebuild kit with new o-rings and it worked for a while.
I would love to continue using this tank, but need new o-rings or a rebuild kit.
Are these available from KEE, or is it possible to send the tank in to Kee to be serviced? Thanks

Have you had a lot of problems with the reactor III regs? Mine was bought new and filled 4 times...3 out of 4 times the 1.8k burst disc blew.

I have a Pure Energy Reg not sure which model but it is blue with a silver bonnet.
There seems to be a block between the low pressure and high pressure sides. If it is full the gauge reads correctly bu no air come out, if I slowly back out the LP burst disc no air comes out. If I slowly back out the high pressure disc air leaks/rushes out. Ideas?

I have a Pure Energy tank / reg, and it's leaking between the two. How do I fix it, or who can I take it to to fix it? This happened after I got my tank rehydro'd, but the business that did the service has since gone out of business.

I have a few tanks that have LP kits. All of the kits are installed the same way, but they have some drastically different output pressures.
Some are outputting 450. some are 650.
My questions are:
Will reversing springs in the stack reduce the output pressure? for example if I install the shims like this: (()()()( instead of like this: )()()()()( will it cut down the pressure?
I I remove any of the spring stack will that reduce or increase the output pressure?
Will adding the supplied shims from the LP kit increase or decrease the actual output pressure?
I'd like to get these tanks all set up as close as possible to the same output. I'd be happy if they were within 100 psi.
Thanks for the help guys. I'm hoping a Tech sees this and can shed some light on this.

Hi nation, I have tried a lot of thing to repair these regs but nothing worked....don,t tell me to change the fill nipple ....I already try this on both tank
First Reg
...I don,t know why but I cannot fill this tank...when I try to the gauge raise up fast at 3k psi (limit at local shop) and then immediately stop filling...when I disconnect the tank from the filling station the gauge stay at 3k psi but the air seem to stay in the piston area and do not enter in the tank itself....The pin is hard as normal but when I push hard on it...a little bit of air is evacuate and then the gauge return to 0......Really don,t have an idea how to fix that tank...maybe the bottom part of the reg which is screwd to the tank itself is block by something?
Second reg
When I fill the tank and open the valve of the filling station at full capacity, the air do not want to enter in the tank... the gauge raise up fast at 3k psi and the tank stop filling...
..but, when I fill the tank very slowly ther is no problem but it take more than normal time...I cannot open the fill station at a certain point because the tankl stop filling if I reach that point....
...second problems seem to be a low pressure output, from personnal experience, I saw that pure energy tank reg have two kind of curved shim...black one smaller than the silver one....in my tow others pe tank I use 8-10 cruved silver shim and it work great but in this reg I have 8 black shim and my output pressure seem too low....gun drop off and I can push the pin with only one finger....
what kind of shim stack do I need with black shim?
Can I mix black and silver shim?
Thanks for your help!
please pm me you idea on how to fix it

First Reg is blocked... you'll have to unscrew it from the tank and send it to repair if you can't do it by yourself.
Second Reg is blocked by a soft material.
Either your old fill nipples had their o-rings loose and going down the drain, blocking air passage, or you put wrong o-rings in your present fill nipples... remember, any o-ring on a fill nipple has to have around 90 Shore hardness.
If you screwed a badly designed fill nipple too much then there is also a chance that you left no room for the pin to move around.

For anyone actually taking score, I contacted Kee and they got back to me about that Air America ScrewN preset reg. THEY DO NOT SERVICE THEM.
If anyone has ever serviced these regs themselves, let me know how it worked out for you. Send me a PM.

i have a reactor iii reg on my tank. what order should the spring stack be in? Right now it looks like )()()()()) or something similar to that. Basically it looks like 3 of the stack are stuck together. Should they look like that or should they look like )()()()( ?
