if u play woodsball or something like that in at a nonbusiness field like one u made.... then most likely yes u would want one but if u play at places that u pay to get in then no cuz they should have them there.

You need one for safety if you're playing somewhere that doesn't have their own chrono. ANY organized and insured field will have one, and if you ever show up at a field to pay and play and they do NOT have one... leave! If you're playing outlaw ball on private property with your buddies? Someone better have a chrono.

i played "outlaw" woodsball for years without a chrono. you dont need one, just have everyone line up before playing, rip some shots, and make sure nobody is shooting TOO hot.

If you're at a field without one, i hope you didn't pay to get in.

Playing outlaw ball without a chrono is dangerous, I definitely wouldn't do it. I know that a lot of people claim they can chrono by eye, but I wouldn't bet on that when the alternative is drawing blood, leaving lasting welts, or even breaking goggles or something like that. Buy a chrono if you're not playing at a normal field.

A chrono is one of the best investments i have made, Saturday morning before you leave for the field, take a couple shots using your chrono and you can see if something if wrong right away. That way you dont get to the field and spend all this time trying to fix your gun.

What he said /\ it's so frustrating to get all the way to a field, especially when you live an hour away from the nearest one, and end up having to use a rental cuz you either bought one from a guy that needs repair but says it works fine or just something simple like an o-ring leak.
