Yep, a helicoil would certainly be one solution, and probably the neatest and most secure.

well im kinda afraid to do it, because using a helicoil requires re tapping the whole and with it being so close to the air holes as it is im afraid it wont have enough room to be tapped without breaking into those holes

Well, I wouldn't suggest doing it yourself anyway, unless you really know what you are doing. Still the best option, if done carefully. You run in to the same difficulty of limited space whatever you try to do.

The Tadao M7 Shocker board does support break beam eye logic.

I guess it really depends how much you are taking the marker apart, and how accustomed you are to working on the marker in the first place. For instance, if you removed the solenoid inserts, rather than swapping the bodies with the inserts in place, then it might take some fiddling to get the re-positioned just right. There shouldn't be any major issues though.

Basically yes - re-assemble in reverse order to disassembly. It really shouldn't be any more difficult that that.

How do you recommend lowering kick/recoil? I would like my gun to shoot as smooth as possible. I know it has a lot to do with having the gun 'tuned' right, but what about as far as upgrades? I have a basically stock sft, but I am thinking about buying an Eigenbolt and an Air Vent manifold. What are your suggestions?

Thanks

Sprung bolt and hand-fit your o-rings. That'll let you drop your dwell and pressure which will drop kick.

Don't actually know if they have them in stock right now, but places that I would normally look for Shocker parts would be www.punisherspb.com, www.smartpartsparts.com and www.paintball-parts.com.

Hey fellas.. so, I have a SFT shocker with some legit upgrades, and its just sad to me that it really has **** for resale value.. what I want to do is put a Dynasty body or Octane body or something along those lines on it, but I believe the Octane bodies are of the NXT type.. can I put an SFT trigger frame on an NXT body or vice versa without having to drill aftermarket holes or replace a bunch of parts that wont fit (solenoid, bolt, etc)?

To my knowledge you can put any trigger in any of the frames. The body won't make a difference on this whatsoever. You can even simply drop in an nxt body if you wanted.

I have an NXT shocker with stock reg and a sprung bolt.

I have a Myth regged tank (~650psi output) and a Ninja Air regged tank (~800 psi).

If I switch between the tanks should I have to mess with dwell or the reg?

The output pressure of your inline reg may vary to some degree with the input pressure, so you may see some velocity change, and consequently need to adjust the inline reg a little.

Shouldn't be anything too major, and you shouldn't need to do anything else.
