Yes it will then shoot but not very consistent. The point is that I want it to shoot with stock settings and I'm not able to do so. Something must be wrong, but I can't figure out what.

Are your solenoid inserts the correct length? Are the orings on those good? What kind of noid do you have?

I have a humphrey noid. What are the solenoid inserts?
Ok so I just figured out that the Humphrey noid is not the noid that the NXT should come with stock. That measn that the dwell needs to be increased. Now running dwell at 18ms and seems fine. Also figured out what the solenoid inserts are, so I took them out and lubed them. They seemed fine.
case closed. Man I have used much time and effort in this. At least I know more about shockers now.

I have an sft shocker with a sprung bolt and i use monkey poo lube. My dwell is at 12ms (hater board).
Everything is fine the first game i use it for, but after that, everytime i start shooting the first few shots have a horribly low velocity, not just the first, but the first few. Any ideas?

Are you saying an sft shoots terrible whenever compared to an nxt? In all essence, a .689 freak and an all american are the same barrel, given that the all american is a .689 bore and they both use the same tips.
If you are asking what can you do make your marker shoot to it's maximum potential, I would recommend fitting your orings properly and tuning your dwell and reg pressure for smoothness, efficiency, and consistancy.

There is no one set of specific dwell settings, or ABS settings, or any other settings for that matter, that are going to be the best for every single marker.
For instance, with reference to ABS, if your marker is more susceptible to bolt stick than mine, I could tell you the ABS setting that works for my marker, and you may still suffer bolt stick with that setting.
Basically, every marker is a little different, and the optimum settings for each marker will vary accordingly. There are no quick and simple answers to finding the optimal settings for your own particular marker - you need to spend some time tuning the board's settings to match your own personal gun.
Other than that, it sounds like you just want to swap your 0.689 insert for a 0.693 one. Really no point in posting in this thread if you know all the answers already.....

Just purchased an 09 NXT with Predator board and spring mod. Recieved it from Sirmooselot1 on here ( after 2 1/2 weeks) but anyway..
i made sure the gun was lubed correctly, then screwed my CP LP tank on. it airs up with no leaks, but when i go to shoots only puffs of air come out.
I messed with the dwell high and low, nothing happened. Have no idea what to do, i really need help !!

What parts are you looking for? The best bet is to look through the bst on here because there are always people parting out Shockers.

I have a SFT shocker, but the body got real messed up. I have a NXT shocker body, Im going to get a whole new bolt assembly and guide. I just want to be sure, I need a new upper n lower board to support the BB eyes. And will the lpr housing and stuff just screw right in?

That's exactly what it is. I've had a few of these over the years.

Why get a new bolt kit? There's also no need to buy a new upper board, lower board, or break beam eyes. All of those parts from your sft work just as well in an nxt body.
If you're using an LPR on your sft, I'd just stop using it. They really serve no purpose.
