Ape Rampage OLED Boards

Does anyone know how good the DM OLED Rampage boards are?

They seem like they are really nice boards and are way cheaper than the Virtue and Tadao boards.

Anyone use one or have an opinion?

We have APE boards in our DM, g3's and Mini. The g3's and Mini are gen4 coding, the DM is not. I have not used or will even consider using anything but APE boards. Customer service is superior, and you can upgrade to lifetime warrenty for cheap. I have sold or given away our other boards, no comparison.

really you got to pay for a lifetime warranty... i believe virtue and tadao give the life time warranty with the purchase price. the few ape boards i have used werent really that special and they have terrible eye logic

Never had any issues with the eye logic myself. On the LED APE boards (or certainly in the case of the Shocker and Quest versions - the boards that I have used) there are five different eye modes, so it is possible that your board's eye function was being effected by the setting it was on.

I like their iFault mode ... will shoot at the eyes on ROF until it senses a problem (eyes are dead, paint covering them, etc). At that point it drops to your eyes off ROF and will actually go back to eyes on ROF if it notices the problem fixed itself (paint cleared from eyes).

The eyes also turn off between shots to save battery power -- check youtube for my vid that demonstrates this
