the flowmaster catback is restrictive, I only have the mufflers installed, I've not noticed it holding my car back whatsoever, my dyno number came out much better than I had originally imagined

Wheels look like ***, and how's traction, 265's seem kind of skinny for that power.

275 (or 285 if the brand of tires run smaller) is the widest you can fit without minitubbing it. I only have 245s, but run NT05s. Id love to see what a 265/275 NT05 would be like on my car though.

Nice car. I've never been a fan of GTO's but this one made me look twice.

hmmm I always get positive comments in person by everyone I see and by everyone on the ls1gto.com forums, I think it's a pbnation thing Doesn't matter anyways because I love them. 265's are decent but I'm planning on running 275 nitto DR's soon.

This guy obviously knows what's up when it comes to cleaning up a car. I don't like the wheels, but you're heading in the exact same direction I would have gone if I had a GTO.

cool, but in classes we are allowed to use the nitto nt05r, bfg radial, hoosier, goodyear, and a mickey tompson

everyone runs mickeys/hoosiers/goodyears..

if you have something faster than 12.5 forget about nitto's.

they are just a fancy street tire you would get the same traction off of any high performance tire as their "drag tire"

well that's great, but they are the worst drag radial out there period.

that is agreed upon by everyone.

it goes hosier/mt/goodyear all about the same then a distant fourth is BFG, then way way way at the rear is Nitto.

MT's have much better traction but don't last for ****. my car isn't a drag strip only car, which is why I'm going to go nitto DR's, they have pretty damn good traction and last a lot longer than most DR's out there. And they're decently priced

no it isn't and many people run DR's on the back everyday, only in places where it rains all the time like miami would I be concerned about running DR's. Bfg's are complete trash... expensive and no they do not last as long as nitto's. I know this from experience being that I had nitto's, MT's, and Bfg's while I still had my H/C/I 2004 GTO. Nitto's even work great at the track, you just have to heat em up nicely. I don't just listen to crap people say like you do, I try it out for myself. Don't know what you'd have to share from experience being that your v6 mustang probably couldn't break 225 walmart street tires...
