that is part of the body not the feedneck.

With collar and wedge or a lever lock feedneck installed you should be fine. The only drawback is a little less structural strength.

Yeah, that's no good. He either snapped off or cut that support rail that goes over the top. If not him, then somebody before him. That would be a huge turn off for me personally since that is part of the body as others have said.

With the collar in place it should be okay but when you don't have tension on the collar I believe the collar will want to just fall off. It will be totally good with the hopper in place but the collar I believe will just slide right off when there is no hopper.

The lever lock feedneck is basically a crappy high rise and I wouldn't ever consider using one of those. If you don't like how it is with that damaged feedneck, don't get it.

For me it is a huge turn off unless the gun was really cheap.
