What i would say as the top 3... Now i play more speedball than rec ball so my answers are probably tilted in that direction.

1.) Hopper, best one in my opinion Revvy 12v w/Xboard. Well the ones with the older shell i heard the new ones are fragile as can be

2.) HPA Tank

3.) Double trigger so you can really throw some paint at you "friends"

Hopper, RT/Ebolt (preference, I love the RT), Reg...

why no hpa? just use co2 with a reg, I get great results with my cos on a palmer, so why pay more? Spend it on paint

Co2 works fine on tippys, ebolt uses a solenoid, afaik no solenoid wants co2 in it, so if you were gonna get ebolt, youd wanna invest in hpa (or a new solenoid sooner or later), then you'd need a hopper too feed that fast, then you're using a stock barrel, shooting 13bps won't matter if your barrel sucks =)

Am I the only person here who read the line that said he already has a new barrel? Stop telling him to get a new barrel HE HAS ONE ALREADY!

Ok, now that I've gotten that off my chest...

1 - Drop Forward. That 98 is a long freakin gun. Shorten it up a bit and you'll be able to play tighter to bunkers (in the case of speed ball) or... I dunno, whatever you need to play tight against in bushball (trees or something)

2 - A Reg. Palmer stabilizer to be precise. It'll make your C02 shoot just fine, leveling out any spikes.

3 - A new hopper. That's what I'm aiming for next. I'm getting good with my single trigger, and I don't want to get a double until my gun can keep up with the paint I'm throwing at the other team.
Now you'll taste the cold, hard, steel edge of my......... butterknife?

Barrel, Hopper, HPA (then I would suggest a reg and dlb trigger).

Drop fowards don't help you play tighter. With a drop you can't play tighter because you have to stick your shoulder out, if you tank isn't dropped and isn't foward, you can have your arm going straight down from your grip without the tank in your way and can play tighter.

Barrel, hopper, hpa. They give you speed, accuracy, and consistancy.

funny how peopel tend to misread the first post, he said EXCLUDE a new barrel, he has one already.

1. RVA, improves consistency and gas efficiency. plus, easier to set the velocity at the chrono.

2. hopper, something to keep up with rate of fire, no ball burps or chopping.

3. this is a hard one, if running co2, palmer stabilizer, best reg for co2.

3. HPA system, consistency and as someone said before, "best bang for the buck."
