noob mistakes? Putting the engine upside. if u notice the holes on the bottom of the engine, those need to line up with the holes inside the body. Lube is dow 55 on all o rings. EXCEPT the bolt, tri-flow oil. Dont do tri flow and youll get drop off(a no no) LPR tester, its needed. No guessing with X amount of turns to get proper pressures.

last but not least, if it aint broke. dont **** with the gun.

Check the rear transfer slot for debris (o-ring chunks), if you're not getting proper velocity. I avoid this by gently turning the engine as I slide it in.

I actually apply more lube to the outer engine o-rings so they slide over the slot better. They're static o-rings and they don't affect anything if they have more lube on them. Just keep the lube out of the air holes on the outer engine though and you won't have a problem.

Interesting, but I've done that and had the o-rings swell TOO much, lol.

Dow 55 only or Dow 33 (sl33k) if you must substitute. Tri-flow oil on the bolt o-rings.

No. Use Dow 55 everywhere EXCEPT the bolt. Use Tri-flow on the bolt.

You wouldn't put 87 octane gas in a Ferrari, would you? Give the marq what it needs, and it'll perform like the top of the line marker it is.

that's in fact on why you are supposed to use dow 55. the swelling of the o-rings were taken into account when the engine was designed.

edit: except, as said before, use tri-flow on the bolt tip's o-rings. you don't want those swollen from dow 55.

not sure if that was a question or comment. if it's a question, then yes, sl33k is dow 33. hence the sl33k in its' name.

It's nothing like tuning an angel.
This gun is meant to be user serviceable.
