Grips for OLED boards

Has anyone tried modifying rubber grips for the OLED Tadao board? (i.e. virtue, bob long lion, Hybrid)

If so, got any pictures of what you did.

I don't have the grips anymore, but I did.

I measured out where the screen would be and I used a wide flat wood chisle and my bench vice to press/punch the rectangle out. It worked well cutting the rubber and the metal in the grip. Once I did that, I took a piece of overhead projector transparency paper and cut a piece larger than the window. I taped it in place with clear scotch tape. I was debating on putting some bar top epoxy in the hole I created, didn't know how that would feel or turn out. the tape and transparency seemed to seal off the grip from moisture and paint through the new hole nicely. Hybrid is coming back. Hopefully they will update their grip line with OLED grips so we actually have a choice for real grips for the OLED boards instead of those piece of **** plastic panels posing as grips.

Didn't know that about Hybrid. Good to know.

I agree on the plastic panels, but may look into doing what you did for yours.

The Virtue grips almost line up with the Tadao screen.

Virtue? I absolutely love them. I consider my hands "normal" size....I wear between a L and XL glove.

Heard the same thing. I actually like the SPD panel grips, mostly because I like to get custom ones and they feel nice. Though nothing really beats the Dark Seoul ones I have and had lasered for my cyborg. Look great but also have a bit of grip because of the lasering.

You be the judge. My Vic with Virtue grips on a Tadao board. Or listen to peeps who heard something from someone somewhere that might have owned a BL autococker in 1997.

How do you get a hold of a set of these grips? I have looked on Virtue's site and can't find grips with the window unless you buy the OLED Virtue board. Am I wrong? I'm a Tadao fan and dont want to have to buy a 2nd OLED board just for grips.
