Vibe BH in the SP1

I cant seem to find a Blackheart board for my SP1 anywhere. I have found a few places with ones for the Vibe. Is the only thing that is different the paint job? or would I run into other problems if I order the one for the Vibe?

Will not work... the breech is shorter in the vibe as well as the airline going from the asa to the solenoid. So dont bother. Sorry!

You are looking for the Black Heart or just a standard SF board?

Yeah that is the first place I looked. You cant add it to cart and for any order you place you have to call the SP phone number. Of course they arent picking up and havent been for 3+ months. Good thought though. thanks.

does anyone know if a vibe solenoid and board will fit and work in an sp1?

I need an sp1 board/solenoid, but found a vibe solenoid and board used. I just wanted to make sure it will drop in.

If I look at the schematics for both guns,

For the vibe it lists:
(30) VIB117STDUS or UK - BOARD
(59) SOL3LO - SOLENOID
(28) VIB117STDASM - BOARD COMES WITH
SOL. ASM.
(29) VIB210 - SOL. COMES WITH
HOSES

And for the Sp1 it lists:
(30) VIB117STDUS or UK - BOARD
(59) SOL3LO - SOLENOID
(28) SP1117STDASM - BOARD
COMES WITH SOL. ASM.
(29) SP1210 - SOL. COMES WITH
HOSES

For (28) it lists slightly different part numbers (at least for the prefix), even though the parts look the same. Can anyone whos swapped them for sure chime in to confirm the solenoids/boards are the same and interchangable?

I think the boards are the same, but the SP-1 had a longer hose on it than the Vibe. Not sure how easy it would be to just swap the hoses....

Gunner... if that BH doesnt sell PM me please.

what about the solenoid/solenoid cap itself. Is it not the same?

the board and solenoid should be identical as far as I know. Like someone else already said you'll need to swap the reg-to-solenoid hose since the SP1's is longer than the Vibe's. Only problem with that is I'm pretty sure those hoses weren't meant to be removed, but as long as you're careful you should be able to do it anyway.

Yep, I have Blackhearts in both my vibe and sp-1 - they are identical with the exception of the hose length coming off the board that goes to the vertical ASA.

TLDR:

The vibe has an vertical ASA closer to the breech than the Sp1 does. If you wanted to use a vibe board, you will need a longer hose. You could replace the house at the solenoid, or make an adapter extender using the vibe configuration. To get vision with you will need the Vision Sp1 breech , or to avoid using the vertical ASA which is connected to the breech.
Other than the hose to asa I havent encountered any issues using the vibe blackheard with the SP1 breech

I'll take pictures later, but i want to get it working before I go to the field today buuuut, heres how she goes.

Unless you have the upgraded SP1 breech you probably cant use the eyes for a few reasons ill get into.

Blackheard board fits just fine, except for the hose to Regulator adapter. you will probably need a 10/32 "female-to-female" fitting and 2 barbs as a little extender to the stock Vertical reg adapter.

The vibe breech could work if you have some kind of no Vertical ASA because then the placement/retaning screw wont be needed.

Sooooo, if you can somehow remove the "shroud" from the sp1 stock body ( i dont think you can remove it) it will require a new breech if you want vision (unless heavy mods to the stock breech)

No matter what, you will need your sp1 parts and blackheard vibe parts to make it work. No internet specs will compare to having both infront of you and seeing what is needed to be done.
Hose length really doesnt matter because it is too short no matter how you cut it. Unless you want to replace the hose directly from the noid.
