Nt eyepipe problem

So I bought my nt a few days ago and when I bought it the right detent was broken, so I just put brand new detents on the eyepipe and left it for a few days. So today I shot a pod through my nt and the detent broke again. Is there anyway to prevent the detent from breaking?

Put an o-ring above the threads on the back of your barrel to prevent the eyepipe from being crushed when you screw the barrel into the breach. This may be causing the detents to break prematurely.

So I just checked and there is already an o-ring there, any other suggestions?

Ok so I figured it out, there was some sort of debris that was blocking the right detent from moving as freely as the left detent.
