Every long-term paintball player needs to own a PGP and a VSC Phantom for a while.
Looks like you're ready for the PGP leg of your journey.

They really are a lot of fun, but surprisingly heavy. When I use my PGP I tend to be much more aggressive than I am even with my Sniper or Phantom. It might be the idea that since I'm already at a firepower disadvantage I better have the best, closest bunker on the field.

An advantage of the PGP over semi-auto pistols like the Tiberius or TPX is that there's not much to fool with. Since there's no magazines to buy and keep up with you just dump cheap 10-round tubes in like you would with a Phantom or Carter. Changing the 12-gram is easier too and can be done without removing the paint or using tools. Their gas efficiency is also nearly twice as high as the semi pistols.

When you think about it, a PGP actually has a higher rate of fire than the Tiberius or TPX if it's over any length of time.
Slow and steady wins the race, I guess.

a lot of people have mentioned SC phantoms...i'm selling one ha. i don't know what it is about phantoms, i just can't get used to them. i can't hold my vsc phantom like pistol because it's so stinkin long...a 14'' barrel + a 15 rnd horizontal feed tube makes it almost two feet long, and i can't balance that.. i think a pistol would be easier to hold and aim; the weight is a lot more compact and the frame is more balanced.

loneassassin, what's the price on that pgp? i am kind of interested =]

^^I'd let it go for $75 shipped, as long as it's in the lower 48 states. Pm me if you're still interested.

I have a PGP. I just have one problem, I can't seem to hit anything with a pistol. So I got a constant air kit from palmers and put an asa on it and a 13ci tank. I love it now, it's so easy to move and play tight with. I will be putting a slider frame on it soon.

I've used too many Nelsons and Sheridans to count.

I've owned my share of P68SCs, PGPs, Pugs, Buzzards, Phantoms, Trracers, and other markers. I keep going back to the P68 and the Phantom... and there's a reason for that. They both, in my opinion, are the pinnacle of their respective designs.

The P68SC was the first pump I ever shot, and the Phantom was the first pump I owned. Each has their positives and negatives, and each can be adjusted and customized to fit your own personal playstyle.

My suggestion is use both styles, Nelson and Sheridan, and find which works best for you. I go through phases where I'll suck with one or the other, which is why I own both.

Top one is my ninja rifle

Bottom one I have since added a stock to.

Wait what am I talking about they are the same gun just different configurations. How did this picture happen?? Arrarrarrrrrar *falls over and seizures*

*gets back up* I like the compact 9" barrel one because I'm faster with it. I also like for the bottom one having a stock and the 16" barrel because well it's different and its more stable. Can't switch hands as fast with it, though.

These guns I made them run well on CO2 using devolumization techniques

Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.".
