Ninja Pumper
So I got into pump recently, and I will never turn back to semi... However, when I played semi, I always hated worthless people who sat in the back (except for legit back players who actually do things), so I usually went to the 40 or 50 off the break and did work. Thing is, the gun has always kind of been in the way. Pumps, when it comes to snipers, aren't much different. Same build, just with a pump handle. So, I am looking at getting a PGP or a tac8 or something so I can be more ninja like and have super speedy agility and dodge paintballs while getting people out. Anyone have any experience with PGP's or other paintball pistols? What's the lowdown on those? I think it would be fun to be able to sprint super fast and not worry about a gun, hopper, and tank getting in the way of anything and still be able to own.

Fine for what you want. A TPX or Tiberius would be newer options, but a PGP, Splatmaster, PG, and such would do wonders.
A PGP is a pump, just incase you didnt know. So if you dont want to think about pumping the gun and such, then get a PG. Splatmasters are good, cheap, plastic fun. Can be had for 30 easy.

Yeah, he'll only have to think about working the Bolt Action on a PG. They're not semi, and getting quite rare since they pre-date the PGP.
PGP's are fun. I have one myself...

...with a few upgrades of course.

I realize they arent semi, and are BA, but its more ninja IMO.
With the PGP, you have to put your hand on the pump arm to stroke, thus taking your hand out of the normal handgun position. It you pull your hand back and up, you can keep your arm extended whilst holding the PG, so youre staying in the firing position.
Yeah, you can still kinda do the same with a PGP, but he asked for ninjaness.
I also recommended the Splatmaster.
In turn, you could also buy a Goblin Solo.

You a good shot with pistols? I could fly down the field easy with a pistol. I was an "okay" shot with a pistol. But I feel more comfortable with a stock. And some people can't shoot **** with a pistol. More then likely I am playing airball with an open class set up though.

something like a mini phantom would be well suited for that type of play.
drop out 12 gram changer and 6 or 8 in barrel.
u wont get much smaller or lighter than that and they are easy to find parts for.

I own both a PGP and a P-68 SC. The PGP sits on the shelf while the P-68 gets used. Here's why: The PGP is too small for me!!!
It's probably because the P-68 was my first paintball gun, and I got used to it, but I find the PGP difficult to pump (gotta make sure you don't extend your fingers in front of the barrel). Plus it's so short it makes it difficult to shoot accurately.
*Notice I didn't say "it's not accurate." I said it's hard for me to shoot accurately. Two completely different things.
The P-68 SC is the same gun, just a little longer, and the barrel extends a good 3-4" past the end of the longer, more comfortable pump. Plus the magazine holds 15 balls instead of 10 (may not seem like that big of a deal, but it means you can reload before you're empty), and the 12 gram changer comes stock like the one in the picture posted by Fubarius.
But they are both good little guns, and will accomplish exactly what you're after. Just be prepared to get bunkered, pinned down, and otherwise outgunned (even by other pumps) a great percentage of the time.
I'm actually trying to sell my PGP if you're interested.
*Edit - I would avoid guns like the Splatmaster, GZ1000/2000, and Nelspot 007 pistols and variants. The first two were rather crappily made. And while I give the Nelspot credit for being the first paintball gun - they were a ***** to use and performed poorly. The Sheridan guns like the PGP used much better construction and seemed to be more streamlined for the sport of paintball.

Sheridans are much better construction then Nelspots, but the Splatmaster is a fun little toy thats majorly cheap when found. Ive seen them for 15 bucks.

Go to the gym, if a couple extra ounces on your marker drastically changes your running speed you might want to try a less strenious sport like playing video games.

I'd be fine with just the stock pump handle on it. I miss my phantoms.

haha. i'm a pretty athletic dude. lift/run, what not...that's not the issue. semis and some pumps are just a bit bulky at times and can get in the way when you are really hugging a bunker. i'm looking into the splatmaster. it would be really fun. something cheap that i can raise eyebrows with. thanks for the info guys!

Sounds like you're converted, so might as well invest some $$ into getting a perfect setup.
Bag the pistol idea. They are lame and inconsistent.
Get an AC based pump and throw on something like a CCM 86 frame. And grab a Ninja 13CU air tank. Throw on a Winchester 50rd and you can play nice and tight, won't be slowed down, and you'll have a better shotting gun.
Just my opinion. I hate pistols. But then again, I play pump AND semi, so having a setup that has a similar feel to my semi is important.

idk why you would ever wana do this, cause unless you have 4 hands or can change out a clip with your feet like an ape, it would be verry difficult.
buy a phantom, they are great guns. =]

pumpers r kool don't get me wrong but hey there is no better way to stay concealed then a Tiberius pistol
I personally got the best of both worlds distance and accuracy (fs)
even without the fs kit the distance is the same as any basic marker
accuracy is just the **** i have good eye hand coordination so my pistol killing is pretty skillful, Speed is second to none mobility is key out there ~

Extended clips are also key 18 rounds each clip
