Just a quick question. The spring in the HP kit is silver. The silver spring i got in the HP kit shorter in length than the gold MP spring but it is a heavier grade spring. Is this correct or should it be the same/longer in length as the gold MP spring and of a heavier grade spring? To me it would seem that by shortening the spring the pressure would be lower even if its a heavier grade spring. thanks

The springs are engineered to work in conjunction with a specified metering orifice (retainer) to use airflow and spring value to deliver the required output. The silver spring is the correct value for hp output. Altering the springs will seriously affect the flow rate and bottom end.

I don't have time for replace the gauge for now, is it still playable? After my paintball run I plan to have a new one.

It is advisable to replace any defective gauge. The gauge is a pressurized unit and as such there is the possiblity of rupture and venting.

GA tanks are manufactured and sourced from major tank companies in the U.S. The Myth regulators are sourced from several factories licensed to operate under strict QA procedures and SGS, DOT, and UL guidelines. Engineering and testing are performed in house to maintain control of the final product.

Most likely an o-ring weeping. This can be a leak at the neck or the small black hp o-ring on the piston. Submerge the bottle in water and see if any bubbles appear.

Moisture condesation will fog gauge glasses. Cooler air temps in the bottle meeting warmer moist atmosperic temps can create fogging. Drain the bottle and allow the temp to equalize overnight. See if the fogging clears.

GA uses Chemplex 710 for the Myth This is a silicone based high/low temp grease with excellent lubing and durability. Chemplex is available through GA. However Dow 33 is an acceptable substitute although more frequent application may be advisable.

isnt chemplex similar to dow 55 , and what would happen if i used dow 55? my teamates use it and i always told them not to because its thicker , but they say thats what they want cuz it lasts longer.

i also found this stuff at home depot , its straight up silicone grease with similar details as chemplex. its 2.95 for a nice amount.is it ok?
