I will be getting a rifle stock havoc launcher in the next few weeks and since this means that I will be essentially carrying 2 paintball guns on me in the next big game, I am trying to plan my load out. I definetely want to keep it simple and minimize the weight. I don't want to run around with two tanks strapped to my back, nor do I want to be dealing with two hoses, even if they are connected to a single tank. Considering that in most games I play, I can get a refill every hour or two, I don't even need to carry much air for the launcher. So I was thinking of getting me one of them tiny 13ci nitro tanks like this one to screw directly into Havoc ASA:



The question is: How many nerf shots can I get from one of these? Should I consider buying 2 to have a back up in my vest pocket in case I run out of air in the middle of the game and enemy tanks are still moving?

Also, for those of you who rock with a stand alone launcher in addition to a PB marker, how do you carry it around? I'm thinking of a one-point sling to be slang over the left shoulder (as opposed to a gun thats slung over the right shoulder). Is there a better way?

I heard people who use the 13 ci tanks get 7-8 shots

7-8 shots seems fine at least imo. every field that I've been to that allows LAWs has rules that limit the amount of ammo each LAW can carry on field and it's not 7 or 8 shots at any of them. When you have to go off the field to reload, you fill on air.

I use the undergun version of this and use that exact same tank and I get 12-13 shots out of it. If you need more unhook your remote and give the tank a quick charge and you'll get another 3.

I run with a stand alone launcher which I use a bungee cord with clips (Smart Bungee System from Home Depot/Lowes) on my left shoulder with my marker single sling on my right. I'm left handed. I do it this way to keep the weight on my left side plus I just drop my marker which will sling out of my way when I grab the launcher with my left hand. It's a faster exchange of weapon.
