BT TM15 Pics
Borrowed from a member over x7og. Give him credit
Live from D Day. Here is the new BT TM15 just revealed this afternoon! I held it and it feels really good. Not much heavier than my TM7. Has a Magpul CTR Stock and Magpul looking mag on it. Looks alot like the HK 416.
Here are the pics:

I heard a tm - ripclip is finally going to be released in August for this and the TM7 as well. About time...
It would be cool to be able to purchase this as a body kit for the TM7 for when you are in the mood to go rifle...

See, I have to say its probably the closest to a good AR15 copy I've seen thus far... but... not a fan of the back of the receivers by where the stock starts.
So, does this offer anything additional over the TM7 or is it basically just a body upgrade? Better question, can I get just the shells to put on my TM7 so that I don't have to buy a whole new freaking gun again? lol

There's some ongoing info available on the BT forums but it seems like they've made some changes to this design that would prevent it being a kit for the TM-7. You can now access the bolt/spring area from the back, so you don't need to split the halves. The battery has moved into the Mag. I think some of the springs are different as well.
When I first saw it I wasn't impressed ... however, a short day later and I'm already counting my savings in preparation

That thing looks real nice. I have yet to see one until today. It doesnt look like it has an on/off in the asa but if the bolt pops out the back that would be pretty sweet as well.

No, they're getting sued for the TM7 and probably the Delta. HK couldn't really sue them because if anything, the receivers and foregrip are more MASADA than 416--- but since they're using MagPul CTS stocks on them I'd bet they already have a deal worked out with MagPul to prevent intellectual property issues...
Bolt out back? How about Solenoid out back? Thats the only part I have to constantly clean on my TM7 to keep it running lol...

clip fed would be very nice
biggest problem would be if they didn't fix the grip wobble and the squishy trigger

well I'd imagine the new receivers being made out of metal eliminates the grip wiggle problem... although I still don't know why people buy a milsim gun and then put a tank directly on it... As for the trigger, I agree, not a fan of the TM7's trigger spring at all.

You do realize that other than the front foregrip and the engravings on the receiver, there's no visible external difference between an HK416 and any other flattop AR15-based assault rifle, right? And the TM15's foregrip is missing the milled slots that make a 416 foregrip a 416 foregrip, so you can't even call it that. I know you're canuckian so they don't let you play with real guns, but this doesn't look like a 416 any more than it looks like an AR15 with an aftermarket foregrip.

This is what I found on A5OG forum:
"I got a confirmed price from BT of $449 it'll come with a rip clip adapter. Also have a quick release to field strip and get to the bolt easy."

This has a magnesium body not polymer. I ran one all day Saturday at Oklahoma D Day and it was awesome. Trigger is much better.
