Rookie NEPL team....first time tips?

New to the NEPL and entered our team into the rookie 3 man. Anyone have any good tips for our first day?Im sure we'll be walking around like dummies for a lil while anyways but any info will help.

Also one more question...when the day is over do any teams tailgate or is there an area to do so? I know theres a lot of underage players around so i wanted to check before any rules are broken lol!

Make sure you read and follow the rules.

They're not posted yet, but probably will be soon. In the meantime, take a peak at the 2010 NPPL rulebook. It'll be pretty similar to that.

Be prepared
Bring extra pods
Bring an extra gun if you have one (if not borrow one)
Pod ahead off time, as soon as you get off the field
Get there as the gates open set everything up as soon as you can and get chronoed asap before the line gets started
treat lori like the goddess that she is or people will kill you

Clean your gun the night before then shoot at least a half a pod through, change all your batteries

Listen to the refs

I know this sounds dumb, stay alive, you dont have to win the game in the first 10 seconds get to your bunker slow the game down and talk

If you make finals realize that a lot of finals is luck. You can be the best team and go 6-0 and one of your guys may slip off break. So dont stress if you made finals you accomplished something after that it is all fun.

We were bummed cuz our 3rd team member and our alternate backed out @ the last minute so we couldn't make it
