I have a very difficult anodizing decision. Red to white/clear to blue fade with blood splatter splash or Aurora. Price wise, only about a $100-$125 difference.

Don't know where you would be getting Aurora done as only one place to get it done was Odd PB that was doing it with the one guy who figured out how to recreate it.

I'd go Aurora just to prove to people that you can still get it done

Like I said, about a $100 difference.

I don't think ODD actually did the aurora. I think I just found who they used to do it. They said they have done several markers before.

Isn't ODD gone though?

Shibby- in the near future you'll likely be hearing from me about prices and such for parts, milling and what-not.

Like I said odd was only doing it with the one guy who knew how to recreate it. Although I remember the guy posting saying he might do more Aurora work.

Odd is still closed, they did send out an email saying they were reopening but nothing really came of that.

Quick questions:
1) Has anyone tried modifying shocker frames for use on an M? I can name one or two aftermarket ones that'd be pretty awesome to have.
2) Who still does milling on these bodies? I'm looking to get mine cut down quite a bit to match some of the more recent marker weights.
3) Eye covers? Where do I get these and such specifics would be nice.

Thanks all.

1) I believe they've been looked into but I haven't seen anyone successfully mount one to a body.

2) Neither Elia nor Tarantula are offering milling anymore. DC was/is working on a design, but Jared's mother fell ill and they have been backlogged for some time so I wouldn't expect it anytime in the immediate future. Shibbykins was also working on a design but I'm not sure how far from completion that is. MeuroM has done manual milling on a few as well but you'd have to contact him to see if he's taking work.

3) Elia, Tarantula and MeuroM have each made their own version of eye covers. As well as the others listed above for milling that may produce some, Acid Customs mentioned a while ago he will be working on designing some.

I wasn't going to use a frame produced by "that other company". But I happen to have one of Coolhand's "Ultimate Shocker Frames" or can even admit that the CCM rip-frame would be pretty awesome.

There isn't enough room to mount the noid horizontally in those frames. You would need to create a manifold and run the noid vertically in the frame. You might be able to tap the holes on the body and mount barbs directly and run them to a noid.

Two grand for an anno job? Ouch, might as well get your gun gold plated. It'd be cheaper haha.

Wow... I swear the guy I have been talking to said $450 for the whole marker. I haven't heard from him in since my last reply, so I may call them if I don't hear back this week.

If its a 2 grand minimum order you should check into how many parts they'll do for that. You could possibly get a group of people in on it.

Well I pm'd him about asking for 5 markers.

Technically right now I have the Evil-M, Merlin,T2. ST Alias all ready for anodizing. The only other ones I will have to anodize will be the Sterling from coolhand and 2k9 PTP Mag whenever I get those two in the mail.

So I guess really I have 6 guns to anodize.
