1) buy a pair of
these for $20 at your local store that sells music ( walmart target fye...) or online
2) after you get them open them up and cut off the jack at the bottom ( for realism you could dip them in water or crush them with a hammer) and then go
here then read the aggressive listening discount. "we will send you a coupon good for 50% off any product in our Online Shop."!!! fill out the warranty information and send them in
3) go to the online shop, pick a pair that you like and you can now buy them for 1/2 off!!!
I realize that this doesn't save you too much money because you add the $20 from the original pair, but if you happen to find a pair on the side of the street crushed and non working just send them in and get some free buds that's what I did.
ALSO: for those of you who didn't know if your headphones brake you can send them in and get new ones for free so that $20 pair of ear buds just bought you headphones for life!
