Beat by Dr. Dre?

I've been thinking about getting the soloHD beats by Dre, but I decided to post up on here to see if anyone has any experience with these headphones. I've seen some reviews on YouTube, but they all seem slightly biased because they were sent to the reviewer for free, or other misc. reasons. And I know there probably are better headphones out there for the same price by Bose and Sennheiser, but right now I just want to know your thoughts on these headphones, not any other ones. Thanks to anyone who helps me out.

They're supposed to be very good headphones but just exorbitantly overpriced.

Look into Sennheiser, AKG, Beyerdynamic, Audio-Technica, Grado, and some Sony cans. Just ask on Head-Fi. Youtube is **** for reviews.

I honestly wasn't a big fan of them. I recently picked up a set of AblePlanet headphones and am thoroughly impressed with them. Especially considering their price.

I would recommend that you don't ask them anything.

For the love of god search and read first. Then ask. All the info is already there.

Stop being so damn sassy. I already did research, I just wanted to have some more back-up information in case someone here has had hands-on experience with the headphones.

My cousin just got a pair of the Beats Studio but said the soloHDs hurt after a while. So unless I find $350 laying around somewhere, I'll keep looking around.

Seriously, coming from a guy who considers himself to be a bit of an audiophile and has been out on tour with ColdPlay. (I didn't play in coldplay, I opened for them). Look into the Able Planet series. I swear by shure in-ears on stage and I love my able planets at home, especially for the price.

Alright thanks, definitely looking into Able Planet now. They have some really good prices. Is there any you recommend in the $100-150 price range with nice bass and noise cancellation?

I really like my HD 555's, and they aren't all the way burnt in. Really good reviews online, and at 100 it's a decent price to pay. Extremely comfortable, the perfect headphones to use at home.

Definitely not the best phones to take outside though. ( I would)
