Question Worried about my first marker

dang, I ordered my first marker off ultimate paintball the other day. A5 with a response trigger and a flatline. I haven't played since the early 2000's and back then the flatline was considered top of the line. Now I'm kinda regretting that extra money I dropped for it. Is it really as inaccurate as I've been reading pretty much everywhere? Some people say its on par with the stock barrel, others say you can't hit the broad side of a barn. I'll probably end up ordering a J&J Ceramic next payday as they don't cost a lot and I've heard good things. Just trying to figure out what to expect in the meantime.

Thats the first time I have ever heard anything bad about the Flatline. I think it all depends on velocity setting and paint.

yeah, I've been told they're really picky. Any suggestions on what paint to use?

Not really, I havent used a Flatline, only APEX. I know with the APEX you had to use higher-end paint. Brittle shells are bound to break on the inside where the barrel curves because, if im not mistaken, it is textured to put the backspin on the ball.

Ive had really good experiences with JT Tactical paint, but thats just me.

use higher end paint and the FL will work.
We use and sell lots of J&J Ceramics as well. I like them my self the best for a smooth-bore barrel.
