These events will be great. We are all trying to get the PTS back to what in used to be back in the day or better. We are trying to get as many teams out there as possible. Capital Punishment will be reffing and providing a DJ (weather permitting) to play music between matches and also to make announcements as needed.
Spread the word and let's all try to make this PTS season the best we've all had in a while.

Talk to Todd and see if you all can set up a practice for all the 3 man teams the week before the event like Dennis used to do. Make it a monthly thing (PTS still every month March-December?). On deck team teams ref, all teams rotate. You don't ref you don't play. Those were always fun and always a great day of play. A case of paint lasted me from 10am-4pm. Set up a 3-man layout with the AG/Ray Lewis bunkers on the grass field for a discount team price? Use separate colored wristbands to distinguish between turf/walkons and team players? Possibly BYOP for the grass field (does anyone even ever play on it)?
Just some suggestions from an OG. Would love to see the 3-man PTS get back to the caliber it was in '03, '04, '05.

Thanks for your suggestions...
The practice day the week before the PTS events has already been worked out. The reason there wasn't one this past weekend is because of the snow and the fact that the wind destoyed some of the netting. As far as the BYOP thing and the old buker field goes, I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.
I know that Pev's has a lot of new and exciting things planned for the park. If anyone has been to the park lately you have probably seen the tremendous amount of wood that takes up the back section of the parking lot. I was talking to Pev yesterday and I can tell you that, as far as woodsball goes, you won't be disappointed.
And as far as the turf fields go, the snow will be off both by Sunday.

I tried calling tonight. I am interested in signing up 2 teams and maybe one or two 1v1 teams. Can someone pm me with details on how to register and how long they think the event will last?

You should be able to call or go in to any Pevs shop and register. The only one that is open 7 days a week is Aldie I believe. If you tried calling today, most of the other shops should have been closed. I'd expect the event to last all day so figure 9-4 give or take an hour each way.

Hey man what time did you call? and what store? they might have been closed.
I know 100% that the aldie location is open right now as we speak give them a call, i supper nice guy by the name of Brian Mack will pick up and will take care of you man.
the number is (703)327-7640 (and press extension 5)
if you dont get ahold of them post in here ill make sure you get ahold of some one
EDIT: Also for the length of an event. that is something that is REALLY hard to gauge. seeing as the games all day could be short (making the event shorter) or they could be long drawn out games using all the time (making the event long) so that is something that is really hard to guess. I would plan on it talking to 1-3 in the after noon. that is how long they lasted last year. but then again that might not be a good gauge so just come expecting to play into the after noon

Pev's Tournament Series (PTS)
Registration Deadline Extended to 11am Saturday March 6, 2010.
Due to weather and economic climate, Many Customers have asked us to extend the Registration Deadline for the upcoming PTS Event so they can pay their entry closer to the event date. To support our customers, we have agreed, and extended registration to 11 am March 6, 2010.
We look forward to a great weekend to kick off the PTS, with a lot of great cash prizes.
