White GEO Anno questions

Hey guys

I have a question for all you guys with a white GEO.

How does the White Anno hold up against everyday use?

Does it show dirt badly? does it stain? does it scratch easily? are scratches easily visible? does the white fade?

i know its weird questions, but i just have to know, cause i dont want to buy the white GEO, but i just need to make sure about the white colour before i buy it.

Cause im debating between Blue and White, and this will help me

thanks guys

The anodizing will hold up the same as every other Planet Eclipse marker. White is no different from the other colors.

I guess dirt could show up if you don't wipe your gun down. It's just going to be more visible because of the contrasting color of white, and typical dark dirt. As long as you just clean your gun you'll be fine.

No it won't stain. No it doesn't fade faster than other colors.

Scratches would probably be less visible on the white anodized marker, than say a black one. It depends on the scratch.

(Technically "white" anodizing isn't possible, it's just a very light gray)

White is really just clear anno over a very matte finish on the aluminum. This makes it very good at hiding small amounts of wear, probably the best, IMO.

no more difficult to maintain than any other color. as has been previously stated, it's not really "white." just keep a microfiber around to wipe off any gun hits and you should be fine, but that goes for any color. microfiber works great to keep it from getting all slick and gross in your hands from paint. its a dust or matte finish so it hides scratches better than polished finishes.

k sweet, thanks guys.

have another question, i have a friend that reckons that you will see bunker rub easier on a white marker than a black one (doesnt make sense to me though, cause black contrasts more)

so does it? i just need to prove him wrong

The color won't make it rub, or wear any faster.

in not talking about wear.

im talking about paint from the bunker (paintball paint) rubbing onto the marker (bunker rub) making it seem like i have been hit...

cause if it seems very visible, and i get called for having bunker rub, ill be a bit dissapointed...

but as i said, i dont think white will show it as bad as black, i just need to prove my friend wrong

Depends on the colour of the paint really - light colours will be less apparent on a white marker, and more apparent on a dark marker, vice versa for darker colours.

i guess...

now my choice lies, get a white GEO now, or wait for the new one (it will be one / two months till i save up for it...) so hopefully a new one is released, or info is released before that, to make it easier on me...

I would have to agree! It really comes down to preference of color and I prefer the matte finish...no greasy finger prints!

Lol. Have fun with that!

There is a reason why we don't have the NT anymore.
