Difference Between New and Old?

Whats the difference between a new omen and an older one (with smaller trigger guard)? Which is better? I am guessing new one.

it seems that the new one more time was spent on making sure that it worked right out of the box where as the first few batches they were more of a rush to get them out because they were months behind their release date. the smaller trigger gaurd models can, have, and will work fine. you just may need to pay alittle more attention to it at first

If you get your omen from Shadrach or any store now it should be Biggerframe and Black trigger. Evil says nothing is different other than that but it has been apparent that more quality control was brought along with them. Omens are fairly new guns so the first few batches were to get the kinks out. And it seems the kinks are almost gone.

There are differences that are more than cosmetic...this is the one that I noticed while playing with different Omen parts.

The bolt on the older models had a single notch taken out to accomodate the cam feed, the newer bolts have the original notch, plus another inch sanded down a bit.

Along with that additional notch in the bolt, the trigger sits differently. Or that's how it seems to me.

The solenoid in the grip frame also have a spring on the newer ones.

That's a negative, my old one didn't have it.
