there is a tournament Sunday morning, should wrap up around 1-2pm. Edge d2 will be out there after that

So im driving up tomorrow from Lafayette to play. What kind of players are typically there on Saturdays, and what kind of field layout is there. Anybody body else on here gonna be there? Let me know!

My girlfriend and I plan on getting there around 11am. We both enjoy playing speedball. Saturdays is typically a good mix of players of all ages, skill levels and interest. Some like to play speedball and some like to play more scenario type games. Come on out and enjoy!!

Right on, that sounds good, ive played mostly rec ball in the past but have recently been looking in to getting in the tournament scene. So I have some experience but nothing real great. Looking forward to playing tomorrow.

For all the speedball teams making practice plans ..... here's our schedule for the next 3 months. On these days we will have a Xball field setup. We will also run 3man games for those teams that wish to practice!

You do not need to have a team to come play! We will create "pickup" teams with the individuals that come out. Team Betrayal (D1 X), EDGE (D2 X), and the EDGE Army teams will be here for some of the open play dates. There's always lots of players / action at the PLEX!

HOURS:

Friday: Open Play 12pm - 6pm. Buy one get one free (Entry and/or Rental package #1).

Friday: 7pm - 10pm - FRIDAY NIGHT MADNESS! $25 includes equipment and paint. Play at least 8 objective based games on our HUGE 250' long field!

Saturday and Sunday: Open Play 10am - 6pm. Buy one get one free (Entry and/or Rental package #1).

Plus we'll have some smokin hot sales in the proshop!

We've had many many phone calls about Friday hours .... my guess is 40-50 open players....but hard to say. We'll have two fields setup. One speedball and one scenario field. Each field is 110' x 125'. We'll be running smaller games all day (5 v 5) on each field.

We use the 98 rentals. We play 8 games (with respawning rules). At the beginning of each game you get a gun with 100 rounds of paint loaded in the hopper. So a total of 800 rounds if you play all 8 games!

We get a great turnout each Friday (30 - 45 people for the past 3 events) .... you get split into 2 teams and play with your team the entire night. We play on the HUGE 250' long field!!

How easy going is the plex? Like im trying to get into speedball, but have no one that i play with interested. They either cant do it financially or live too far away. I have been playing paintball for years, but has always been scenario. Ive now converted styles of play, but have not had a chance to play speedball/tourney ball. So If i just show up, how easy is it to get going and what not?

Come out on Sunday mornings and you'll get play time on one of the pickup teams that get formed. You can come on Saturday but Sunday is the better day if you want to get into speedball. When you check in make sure you tell us that you are wanting to get into speedball and we'll make sure we help you get with a team for play time.
