ASA leaks air when it's being turned on
and not a little leak, a BIG leak
once the asa is all the way on, the leak stops. any idea what's causing this and how to fix it?

Your ASA internal core need to be lubed and/or the oring around the core may be nicked. Remove the core and inspect the oring or either way replace the oring and apply a fair amount of Vaseline. This should solve your problem.

Hey Mr. Shootnpoo,

Your namesake is exactly what my marker is doing right now. Not sure why, i've had it for 6 months or more now, has 38000+ shots on it and it has just started to shoot horrible. I've replaced the o-rings on the hpr, ram/bumper/ lpr as well and have cleaned it THOROUGHLY.

I've also reset it multiple times (hpr and lpr) and back to factory settings as well. My problem is the balls are curving VERY bad and the marker is inconsistent as all get out. 285, 284, 252, 279, 292, 261 is what i get over the chrono, and the balls are going all over the place. Balls are a pretty good match to the bore and fresh, also have tried MANY MANY different brands with the same results. tried all three barrels (only used the .689 EVER so i know the others are good) with same results. bolt is a little beat up, could this be the problem? Also the eye covers NEVER did fit very well, the only thing i was disappointed with on the marker.

Any clues or should i send it in?

Thanks in advance,

Doug

has there been any body to frame gap issues reported? my creed does not seal all the way when together. you can see the gap if you put a light behind it. and paint can get in.

You just need to squeeze the 2 halfs together then tighten screws. Make sure wires arenot pinched inbetween

sounds as u may have a sticky lpr piston. Try changing oring on lpr piston, also make sure marker is.well broken in prior to adjusting timing. You may be to low to high having this issue. If you want to send it in it will be a service fee as you will need to contact customer service to schedule

yes, that is what i did. and it looks just like before i took it apart to get a better seal. i did notice the peg for the backscrew was too tight of a fit for the milled slot. it was rubbing off the milling, so i filed the anno off al the side and it fits easier now. i thought that was going to solve the gap. but it looks like the frame is not deep enough for th enoid to it all the way in. nothing is pinched. and the screws are tight. it fits better then it idid, but i there is still a gap. i think it is a bad mill job. i was just wandering if you have had any reports about this. also will the vanguard tech for England be at any tournies this weekend? i can have him look at it

The fee doesnt bother me. So a sticky LPR would cause the balls to curve? just sounds weird to me. I would love to get it tech'd

Yes, if the lpr is sticking or a few other items such as the poppet cup seal oring. It all depends. If you say its curving it can be so many variations of things together. Please contact customer service to schedule your marker to be sent in.

IF you want to take care of the issue that is great.

What you need to do is completely rebuild the inner valve and poppet.
Then replace the Oring on the LPR piston checking to make sure the shreader valve is in good working order. To repair everything I have just said os lined out in the video.

Hmmm the only thing I've ever seen causing balls to curve is very high velocity, dirty hopper coating the balls, or a dirty barrel coated in paint or lube.

You may need to change the velocity adjuster screw Orings!
Is it leaking from the middle of the reg our outer edge.

If inner, change the 2, 801 velocity adjuster screw orings

if outer, change the HPR core bottom oring 016
