Guess you should have traded for the ego that you agreed to. You could grow up and at least reply to people. I'm glad your creed is garbage lol.

Aside from the previous unnecessary comment, yes the milling may have been a bit off but not enough to cause your problem consistently. Check the springs behind your detents, especially if one is larger than the other. These are sometimes replaced or switched with trigger or non-detent springs during rebuilds. Also ensure that your board settings are stock before stressing about hardware, the timing itself may be to blame.

It's the springs. They tend to fall out of place as you put the eye cover on, and when they do the detent doesn't sit properly. You have to be very very careful when you put the eye covers back on. You have to put the eye cover on completely level as you press down. Then check the detent with your finger before you tighten it down and after you tighten it down.

Thanks for the input guys I appreciate it.
The springs are brand new that came with the detents I also have the old one that I tried too, tried setting the spring in evenly like you said it seems to be going in straight every time, no matter what I do I can't manage to get the detent to come through enough even when I put pressure on it with an Allen key and feel the other side it still doesn't stick through enough. this is wierd.. it just doesn't seem to fit right

Can't be the springs I wish it was, I've tried countless times even tried swapping sides , I get the left side perfect everytime but the other side just never goes in right even before I put the spring/cover on.
I'm thinking it's really just a milling issue and I'm really thinking about sanding it down somehow

Haha good work. Ya some of the milling was a bit off to say the least. I used lapping compound on mine to get the detents in a little deeper and it worked great. I take it they didn't drill the hole large enough on yours for the cup to drop down fully?
