GEO Settings Thread

We'll see how this goes over with the mods...but...

I'm starting up a geo settings thread, just for those people who don't care to "tune" their guns. And would rather try a setting and go. I know someone will appreciate this, so here we go...

Please Include...

1. Dwell

2. Bolt Kit (which one)
-Pre-GR-2 Stock
-GR-2 Bolk and Prop Shaft
-ST Kit and GR-2 Prop Shaft
-ST Kit and original Prop Shaft

3. VVC setting

4. HPR (if known)
-Most will tune this to velocity, but some people use reg testers...

5. What LUBE are you using.

If this is an efficiency setting you are listing, it might be helpful to list the bore size you are running....under/over/matched bore...etc...

ICE/BLUE GEO

Dwell- 13.5
Bolt- GST Bolt/ GR2 Prop-shaft
VVC- All the way in
HPR- To Velocity
Paint- Bore matched pepper sticks kit w/ marbalizer
Lube- E-Grease

Getting about 7 pods and a hopper on a warm day w/ a 68/4500. Not great but only 4000 shots on the counter right now.

Shoots really smooth, quiet, with crisp shot.

Seem kind of silly posting this in my own thread...but hey, this is what I made the thread for...lol

Anyways, does anyone have any suggestions on what settings would be the absolute SOFTEST on paint.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but im just gonna go ahead and call bs on over 2000 rounds...would love to be proven wrong, but that just doesnt seem likely to me...

and in terms of soft settings on paint, use GST, raise your dwell to 14, turn vvc screw all teh way out and use a non-force feed hopper or a rotor. most ball breaks are misdiagnosed as crushed paint in the breach anyway...

You hit it right on the head. It was my prophecy, too many magnets in for cold winter paint.

I don't put much credence to the whole "spool cure" feature. I honestly think it does little to help 2nd ball clipping. 99% of those problems are just the hopper.

Thanks for the info man.

Wow...I just OT'd my own thread....back on topic...

So...
13.5 dwell
GST kit
VVC all the way in
HPR to velocity
E-Grease
Good bore match

Still looking at 7-8 pods and a hopper, don't think it is gonna get much better.

It shoots very smooth, very consistent, and is very easy on paint.

So do you really think a Rotor is gentler on paint than the Prophecy? If so, I have to add a Rotor to my gear bag again.
