prolite

hi, new here.

i bought a pro-lite a good 3-4 years ago, played a few times, then lost the barrel and it has sat on the shelf ever since.

recently my cousins have taken an interest in paintball, and as im still a newbie i see no point in buying another gun, but i cannot find upgrade parts for the prolite.

maybe some of you vets can point me in the right direction?...

If you want to keep the prolite than just get a differen't barrel or an expansion chamber or something and you are set.

after rereading my post, i realize i didnt make the right point.

i am keeping the prolite, i was just wondering about parts made for it and where to buy them.

i.e.(barrels, expansion chambers, bolts, etc.)

My bad. I dunno, check the tippmann website. Im not sure if the prolite is made for upgrades like the 98c, so it may not have many GTAs available. Things like expansion chambers you won't need to search for prolife-specific version of, unless it doesn't have a verticle adapter (don't know much about prolites). Don't worry about an after market bolts, you don't need one unless your normal bolt is worn, which doesn't happen very often with tippys. I am not sure what threads the barrel is.

Once more, our good friend Mike at County Paintball is the chap to look up for all things Tippmann. He's got Pro-Lite accessories and barrels.

There's a direct link to www.pbgear.com and their prolite parts page.
There's a nice item on there --- prolite to m98 barrel threads, too
