Gun Mounted Display

Yeah, the housing is crap. It was made with a dremel and hacksaw. It had a pretty tough lexan window. It's 1/2" birch, so it's pretty robust. It was made from bits from the junk drawer. I'll make a better one later. Weight isn't as bad as I thought, only half as much as my autococker with no barrel, hopper, or air tank. The monitor is a Lilliput 7" USB LCD, onboard video processor, no batteries required.

The software side is already operational, and constantly evolving. It's just the free stuff from my site. A few things left to do. Clean up the lines, paint it, mount a touch pad, and latch the top. Last thing is just attach a hinge to a rail mount I picked up at a local gun store, then it's time to mount it up.

The software side handles force tracking, sharing camera feeds, and an interactive game engine is being developed to deliver content like missions, live videos, etc. It's all free and web based.

Sorry for the long time to reply but you said it can share camera feeds? That means there can be players running around the field gathering info for the general right? Man if either team had 2 or 3 of those the game would so complex and fun new tactics could be made because of this! Have you field tested it (sharing camera feeds that is) with 2 or 3 cameras yet? I would love to have one of these for a scenario as a general along with 2 or 3 cameras to feed videos.

looking at the size, I'd secure it to an arm pad like a dye slider or something and hinge a lexan cover over it.
