Polising Brass?
Ok so today I got a Piranha LB and it is very scrached. So i was looking and it has a brass body and a copper feed tube. I wanted to know how to polish the gun and make it look shiny and newer. i have most kinds of sandpaper but no buffer.

They did not use copper, the feed tube will also be brass.
First, strip the gun down taking out all the valve parts.
Wash it in lacquer thinner using #0000 steel wool to remove the old paint.
Any deep scratches need to be sanded out, use grits #220, #400, #600.
Each finer grit brings back the shine.
Finish by going back to the #0000 steel wool using Brasso metal polish and use a swab on a cordless drill to go down the barrel. (using the polish)
Wash off remaining polish with water and dry with soft cloth.
To keep it looking nice & shiney, and prevent fingerprints, etc. you can spray a coat of lacquer before putting it back together.
I just did a PMI-1df, it's entered in the POTM thread with pics.

When you say scratched do you mean the finish is scratched or is the metal itself scratched? If it is the metal then yeah, use really fine sand paper/scotch brite pad and then for the final buffing I have used felt or wool and then a microfiber cloth. I have used Brasso (brass polish) and a cloth to remove the original brownish finish and make it nice and bright. It shouldn't be painted unless the previous owner painted it.

A 12-gauge shotgun bore swab is a great tool for polishing the inner tubes of a Sheridan gun to smooth out the action and improve accuracy. Make sure the swab is wetted down with plenty of brasso, attach it to a power drill, and run it in and out of all 3 tubes until they have a mirror shine on the inside.

BRASSO=Awesome stuff! Super cheap and doesn't scuff. I would try it first, then go from there.

^ i concur. I really don't know what i am doing when it comes to treating metal surfaces, but i used brasso and maybe after 30 mins she was as shiny as a new penny and stayed that way for a while.

Back in the day, we would all sit around the field, talk about the days kills while brassoing our Annihilators down. And yes I am that old.
Brasso is the way to go for cleaning both inside and out of a brass beauty.
I swear if there was a way to have different barrel bores, I would still play brass today.

bore them out for freaks
And for stripping the thing of that paint what Ive done was heat up white vinegar and soak it in there for a while. it will rub off after a while with a towel and then use brasso to keep cleaning it up and polish it.

1) The barrel is fixed and not interchangable
2) The brass is too thin to keep the integerity.
