Not sure if this is the correct place but it has to do with paintball and legalities, so I'm putting it here

Basically, I was talking with a coworker about our local MLS soccer team (Columbus Crew) and accidentally said Columbus Cruel. I thought that would be a great name for a paintball team. I proposed it to my teammates and they all loved it. I even talked about a parody of their logo. So, I came up with this:

Now, we mainly play at a local level but will actually be making a YouTube channel, website and online storefront.

Too similar of name/logo?

Honestly man id be careful with the logo especially even the name being that close. people will sue over the stupidest things. Just ask Action Markers

Your best bet in any case like this is to ask them. Explain what your doing in detail and if they give you the thumbs up make sure to get it in writing. But if your looking at a logo that similar to theirs your probably going to get turned down.

That's what I'm thinking. Just finish the logo and submit it to them for the final yea or nay.
