Why spend $400? The beauty of pump is that you can have a $200 pump that is up-to-par with a $400+ pump.

I bought a Sanchez SM1 and his Orbium barrel.....No regrets. My set up is tight!!! I got a CP reg with a CP ASA.... Luis Sanchez backs his products 110%........Chances are that you're already using, or have used his work before. Sanchez has made products for all the big and small companies out there. I also use the WGP tactical barrel system as well......Who do you think made those?...You've guessed it- SANCHEZ!!!!

I say Dirty Sanchez all the way!!!!

sanchez awesome quality stuff, but....they have everyday cocker springing, no auto trigger, etc

you can pick up the same thing (performance wise), if not better in the BST for $250-350, + cp shortys and cam drives are nothing special.

Luis just came out with an auto trigger. I believe they are putting them together as we speak.. Omega Sector will be rolling out with his SM1's this season. I think they just got sponsored by Luis this year if Im not mistaken.

Take care my fellow ballers!

sanchez machine doesn't use every day cocker springing. there has been experimentation with springing for the past year or so, but a new finalized spring set up has been established and has been included on all markers recently.

in theory any sniper will pretty much perform the same, whether its a $150 sniper out of the BST forum, a $400 sanchez marker, or a $600 ccm marker. they all shoot, you have to pump them.

I put mine through hell and back and never had a problem.
the SM1 is great especially for the price, plus if you prefer the look of the milling then its the right marker for you.

sounds like you found a good deal.

i would not buy an sm-1 now. prices will drop when the "new" sm-1 comes out which should be soon. furthermore a lot of the old sm-1s have poor barrel threading. so you may get a soon to be obsolete sm-1 with a messed up barrel threading if you buy now. wait 2 months, get the second generation sm-1, and hope it does not show up with a new gun defect, that is what i am planning on doing. consider getting the CIP pump for 179 dollars.
it is not as good a gun but it will hold on to it's value better when it comes to resale time. use it until the new sm-1 is freely available, then sell easily the CIP used for 125 dollars, and buy the new sm-1. GL!
