Prizes, Paint and more releases.....

I understand that some paint is bad then other on bunkers and such. I know everyone knows that monsterball was bad for bunkers. Also from what I heard XO paint isnt really bunker friendly. Not 100% sure this is ture or not.

But where the Head people of the series are coming from is to make it safe for the field to make it easyer to maintain and easyer clean up. Every clean up after a 1 day event? Not fun. If you think about it most events charge around the same price, hell maybe even more. It all comes down to what paint willbe sold to teams. We all can't shoot the paint the pros shoot at PSP, or USPL/NPPL. I'm sure tho that the GPL/MAPL will sell the "better" paint for teams to make each event wroth playing in.

to GPL/MAPL for making it easyer or your wallet.

It depends on the fill, Cheap **** (say, oil based) will leave a nice stain on your bunkers after even one day (imagine after a tourney full of people doing byop and of course shooting cheap paint) then imagine being the guy buying a $3500 and ending up with a bunch of aweful looking fields after one day of use. I dont care if your a business guy or not, Im sure you can imagine that its not worth three grand to look like your bunkers are a year old. PEG is better all around but any company can have crap paint, youd be suprised.

one thing I've seen is an "acceptable" paint list, anything not on the list is not allowed.

At a national tourney they clean every few games, but they have a higher entrance so you were better off just paying for better paint locally instead of paying ref's to clean your ****ty paint, amongst other things.

Yesterday, today and tomorrow we are having a few phone issues. I am located in upstate New York and we got hit with a snow storm that knocked out my phone system. It is to be repaired tomorrow sometime so I do apologize.

I was wondering with the mixed divisions how is that going to affect our rankings? I ask because currently my team and I are all ranked D4 and we plan on playing in a series as D4, but want to play the D3/2 mix in MAPL and don't want to be bumped up mid season for the other series. If that makes any sense sorry I couldn't think of another way to explain it.

I understand what you are asking and I hope I explain it in a way you can understand. First and Foremost, no player will be moved up to the ranking of D2. The only way you can move to the D2 ranking is by playing in the PSP. That is the APPA Rule.

A player’s classification is based on their classification rating. Players will be promoted to a class at the end of the season based exceeding the following ratings:

Pro 7872
SP 3936
D1 1968
D2 984
D3 492
D4 72

Players who play in a division higher than their current classification will be promoted mid-season if they also exceed the following ratings:

Pro 9600
SP 4800
D1 2400
D2 1200
D3 600
D4 300

Every time you play, you get ranked and recieve points as per the classification program which you can see here - http://www.pspevents.com/index.php?o...55&It emid=69

If you a D4 player who plays in the D2/D3 division, you do risk the chance of being reranked to D3 depending on how you finish mid season and end of season. If you dont do to well and always finish at the end of the pack, it is very unlikely that your ranking will change. But remember, it is just not the GPL/MAPL. It is all APPA events. So if you choose to play another league or another event that uses the APPA system, you can be reranked by those points being added to your overall.

I hope I was able to explain it clearly. Basically - if you are D4 team that plays in the D2/D3 division and do well after a couple of events, you are most likely going to be ranked D3.

Yes. As the website says, more are coming as sponsors are being confirmed.

They have not been released. Guys please, please be patient. I am working daily on everything. Trying to finalize sponsors and all the rest of details. I can assure you it will not be to much longer, but please please be patient.

Guys really need to stop stressing prizes just be happy that you have a Great League like MAPL supporting you guys with one of best format's in paintball some region's don't even have a league within 6 hours..... Damn when did it become all about the money?
