Hey guys, I searched for this but couldn't find anything, but anyways

I'm buying a Eclipse Impulse, and the seller thinks that the board needs to be flashed. He said that I just need to send it to Eclipse, but I went there and didn't see anything in their support section.

Any help?

Never heard of an eclipse board for an Impulse. I do not think the seller knows what he is talking about as far as flashing goes.

Why would the board need to be flashed anyway? What was his reasoning?

Sorry, I mean Planet Eclipse Imp...but I'm meeting up with him today so I'll ask then and see how the gun is...

But I've never heard of a board needing flashed personally.

I have an eclipse imp. There are no eclipse boards that I am aware of.

Give us more details when you get them. You might get a steal of a deal, or he might try to rip you off.

the board is prolly messed up and he thinks if he says it just needs to be flashed you'll still buy it and not know the board is spent. that's just a guess since you have only told us part of what you're getting at by asking this.

btw, imps were made by sp, not eclipse.

Regardless, there is no Impulse board that you would just send to Eclipse to have them flash. The ONLY way that would even be a relevent statement, would be if the guy happens to have done an Ego frame mod, which I highly doubt is even close to being the case.
