This mod is tried and true in the shocker and will work just as well in a Luxe, so everyone stop worrying about it.

It's not the longevity of the spring. I honestly want a side by side comparison of spring luxe to non spring luxe in terms of shot volume. I want them both shooting around 290. Also, what happened to the side by side of the polished vs. unpolished? I think these two side-by-sides would really sell a lot of us over.

Pretty much all spools can/will get bolt stick, DMs cost 1k+ and they still get bolt stick too.

I'll be sending my bolt back in to get it polished after I get mine back and run some tests. it'll definitely be interesting to see what(if any) difference in performance there is.

The polished vs non polished video is up in the polishing thread. Most people are getting both done at the same time to save time. I did not want to confuse people by doing a polished sprung system.

Don't take my word for it. Wait until these people get there polished sprung luxe parts back. I am sure we will see some vids of it. I am just really busy right now.

However, I am wondering how you arrived at the compression/tension which you have settled for in production and what the results would be with a compression/tension which was slightly to low and/or slightly to high?

Thanks,
Yes, it's the same spring.

side by side would need identical guns. same lube. measure the output pressure of the reg, same oring tolerances or close, same paint, same barrel, etc

The bumper is used as a bumper for both the spring and the bolt.

The inside of the bolt is machined out to fit the spring.
