Lube and Orings for my Ion
Hi guys, I recently purchased an ion from ebay, everything was in great condition but the oring on the barrel is cracked. I rarely paintball (1-2 times every 6 months is what I PLAN on doing, since im busy w/ work and money is tight at the moment). I don't want to spend a boat-load of money on orings, nor do I want to blow out my wallet on a decent lube. Can anyone post a site that sells Sl33k by Smart Parts, at a decent affordable price (ebay and amazon accepted as well, but I couldn't find any on there). Also is a "15 piece complete o-ring set for ion/xe" worth 5 dollars? Thanks guys.
p/s: If you know a site that sells cheaper orings, than feel free to post.

any dow33 product will work, it does not have to be sleek.
and get rid of the stock barrel. you can pick up something way better in the bst for cheap.

That's not a bad price. I go to oringmonkey for pretty much everything as soon as I get a new marker. With the playing you are doing that amount of lube will last you a long time. Just look through the stickies and learn alittle about your new ion so that it won't let you down.

You won't find another guy better than David at Oring Monkey. Can you find it for cheaper? Sure. But who knows if you will get the product OR if it's decent product.
Go to OringMonkey. You cannot go wrong.

as for lube, use some hater sauce, you can get 2oz tub for like $10, compared to .25oz of dow 33 for $5 (totally $20 for 2oz), and the hater sauce will last for a while as long as you don't just goop it on the orings. I would suggest using oringmonkey.com, theyre pretty good, and if you buy a box of orings you can some dow33, dow55, or something else, you pick. The box s 2 times as much though...
