Good Pump Gun?

I want to buy a pump in the future and am interested in pump play. What are good pump guns for me to consider? I have been looking at the Phantom VCS

it depends, do you want open class or stock class? open class uses a regular hopper instead of the tubes like stock class.

and you may be more comfortable with a open class if you started out playing with other guns.

either get a cocker or phantom... both can do stock or open class depending on the set-up
however... the cocker will take some PVC or another hard pipe to turn it into a stock class

Anything made by CCM or a Palmer's Pyre would be my first choices. If money isn't an issue I'd go with a CCM T2.

thats good but if its your first time playing pump I dont think you want to start off playing with some nice ccm gun. (Kinda of like a 12 year old first timer with a ego if your feeling me there) In my opinion build your own sniper that makes it yours. EX: Trilogy, pmp pump kit, bm reg, cp asa with some rail ect... Then as you progress and get an understanding for the gun and pump playing upgrade to something nicer. Either way pump is ridiculosly fun and whatever way you go you will 99.9% enojoy it!

(this is just my opinion!)

agreed. Both are affordable and work great. From there you can decide if its something you want to keep doing, or get out of.

It boils down to open class verses stock class. Always.

Yes you can. Winning a game with a pump when no one at the start of the day wanted you on the team in open play. That happens alot

well instead of paying brand new for a pump, just get a used one and save some money. that way itl alredy be broken in and youl enjoy it at its peak performance.

Phantoms are terrific guns. I'm using one as my primary right now.
There's not much that needs to be said about a paintball gun that has been produced nonstop without significant changes for over two decades.

Get a Sniper Two! It feels nice in your hands.

If you get a Phantom the velocity adjuster is hard to get at, but that's all you'll have to worry about.

if you are converting it to pump, the kits can be a little bit more pricey since its a mini. if it has a kit on it already and can get it cheaper than something used go for it

and for the OP if you can get your hands on both types to test out, do it before you buy.
