I just use a pod pack a 5+4+2 never full of pods oh god that would be heavy but if I need to carry anything with me like water or whatever I stick it in the spare loops

I ended up with a tac vest I bought a few years ago from a local army navy store, it cost about 45-55 dollers but now I use it for paintball and it has everything I need.

its almost identical to the set up below, same pockets in the same places, the only difference is with mine the cross draw holster is not velcroed on.

the cross draw holster now fits my pgp handgun with the removal of some stiching (which effects nothing) the inside of the back of the vest has an opening for body armor inserts or camalback/water bladder, the sides on the front inside have two large zippered mesh pockets for body armor inserts or to hold larger items like maps or such.

the back is the same type of molle loops for attaching gear, i was able to take my old pod pack and throw some extra webbing and clips on it to make them attachments I can use on the vest.. for a stock non paintball vest im pretty happy with it,i can still customize it how i want and paid only a fraction of the pirce . some of the exact same features of mine( excluding the velcro secured holster.mine is sewn permanent)
FEATURES:

4 RIFLE MAG POUCHES (2 EXTRA ON REMOVEABLE ATTACHMENT)

EACH HOLDS 1-2 STANDARD MAGS

1 TYPE II TENSION HOLSTER WITH BUILT IN MAG POUCH -FITS MOST
MED AND LARGE FRAMED PISTOLS

REMOVEABLE 6 ROUND ELASTIC SHOTGUN SHELL HOLDER

LARGE I.D. POCKET AND RADIO POUCH

REINFORCED SHOULDER FOR REPETITIVE FIRING

HEAVY DUTY LOOP SYSTEM FOR ATTACHING GEAR/ TOOLS

PISTOL/ DUTY BELT INCLUDED TO ANCHOR DROP LEG
HOLSTERS OR OTHER ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS

HEAVY DUTY DOUBLE STITCHED NYLON & MESH
CONSTRUCTION FOR VENTILATION
(sorry for caps ,copy and paste from site)

hope this helps a bit.

I used an older version of that. Its a decent vest it uses a velcro interlock system on the back to attach pod holders.

Check out the BT Molle vest, they have 2 or 3 different ones to suit your style.

Also, you can pick up some molle stuff of airsoft sites pretty easily.

The operatives vest has a pocket inside the back for a hydration bladder. They sell horizontal tank pouches with there interlock system that you can attach anywhere on the back. When i used my vest i would put the tank up near my shoulder blades and the pods under it. You can buy upright pod holders for the front.

I think mine was an xl when i had it. I am 6' 2" 190 ish. It fit me pretty well if its made the same as the first version i had it will have an inner elastic band somthing like a good pod pack has thats attached to the back of the vest. That helps hold the load on the back tight to the body.
