Just saw this thread and might be trying to do a custom job on my I4s as well-- thanks for the instructions.
One thing I should mention, though, is that the nickel sized logos on either side-- just behind the lens-- have come off on mine. To anyone wanting to paint their I4s, make sure and remove those prior-- unless you want a random spot if they do fall off.

Should be fine since the paint actually bonds with the plastic, but be careful with the lens if you use any type of granulated soap-- it scratches far too easily.

I'm doing mine tomorrow. Probably lime green with purple lines everywhere. I'm also thinking of just doing lime green. Don't know though. I will post up pictures later

Very neat design and color choice. It suits the mask well.

My mask was a cheetah print before its previous owner painted it. Then solid black with yellow accents. I've now painted it white. After a few games i'll post up on krylons ability to fuse on top of other spraypaints.

Nice job! Do you smell paint fumes when you wear it though?

I put it on today after reapplying the foam and it smells like new plastic not like spray paint...its rather faint though. When i did the mask i left it outside to dry in the sun.
