Not for long, LOL. It's great to have so many top places to go play @ hear in CT now. Indoor & out. Might have to get some kind of Field Team Tourny going once GEKO is up 100%. Might make a good little series.

Jdog, i am a matts player myself but had the chance to test out geko today and must say it was far better than i expected at the least.

The bunkers ehhhhhhhh. And I haven't really seen any tournament players or team talking about how they want to start playing there etc. At matts theres 10+ teams every sunday in all skill levels

EDIT: not trying to promote matts but neither of those places seem legit. What there trying to do is great but neither of them really have a bunker set or layouts, which layouts and other teams practicing there is whats going to get more people. Not trying to bash either of them

only things i have noticed so far that will keep teams away from geko is the prices, they are to high to get there on a regular basis, and the pass is more expensive than any other field in the area (3x more than matts). D&D the only things i have noticed is no real layout and the pay per fill, which alot of players dont like. But i will be checking both of them out to get a full opinion of them after they have been open for a few weeks.

Jdog, i completely agree bro... layout is key!! and this is what i told both field owners if they want regulars there all the time they need to make sure of this. I was reassured that they will be following some kind of layout, wether its xball or whatever i am not sure man.... Trust me man, i would much rather play with teams otherwise how can i get better if im not getting beat!

Fly DD will be doing that buy 10visits for 100 bux or waever, and it seams great bc it includes air... but still if one is going to buy a season pass i think its bc one is going to make more than 10 visits! so that 10visit pass will get expensive real fast! lol. Although much better than buying a day pass plus air every time you go there.

but yea jdog, i hear ya man... i love going to matts and im there every other weekend, but it aint so bad to get a lil taste of a new place ....
