Yeah, Cards/Saints was stupid to watch, I napped through part of it. Pack/Cards was great, even though it had the worst outcome.

Big deal, but maybe not as big as they are making it out to be. Definitely an important player, but damn. It's everywhere.

Its a tough call, I say a big deal because Freeney vs Bushrod is something the Colts would jizz over. Bushrod has had solid games, but against Freeney he would need help all game and that would take alot out of the Saints playbook. Without Freeney the Saints may not need to have to shift as much help to Bushrod's way allowing more receivers in the formation.

I'm pulling for the colts and at first thought they'd take this but now I wouldn't be surprised if freeney's injury helps the saints prevail.

Im with you. I think the Colts can cover up Freeney not being 100% and still get a good rush. They're not as reliant on the front 4 to get pressure under Coyer like they have been in years past.

I think Brock will give Bushrod a run for him money all game. I think Indys defense as a unit is very stout and without Freeney they lose a little bit, but not as much as I think some people feel. He's a great player, dont get me wrong, and in years past this would be devastating but I think this year, under these circumstances, the Colts can manage without a 100% Freeney.

It's a big deal. Freeney is a great DE, and one of the reasons Mathis gets half the pressure he does. Without him, that side becomes easier to block and so does Mathis. I is worried for da colts.

Freeney is the second best player on the Colts' roster. He is basically Peyton Manning on defense in the way he dictates what the other team does.

No, Bob Sanders is not. Having one good season does not justify **** for Bob Sanders. He is super overrated.

Bob Sanders doesn't exist

Besides even if he did a DE has a much larger impact

It's funny that the Saints' gameplan is to get to manning and put pressure on him.

That's not gonna work. At all.

Bob Sanders would be considered one of the best safeties in the game right now if he could stay healthy... but he cant... thus while he is a great player, I think everyone, including the Colts, have learned to not actually expect him to play.

The Saints have to mix it up, and when they do blitz, its gotta be in a situation most likely to succeed. Rex Ryan's "Blitz until you cant stop blitzing" method got raped. Sitting back all game in coverage will also get you raped. You do have to roll the dice against Manning and blitz some, but for the most part you're better off showing blitz and not bringing it compared to showing blitz and then actually bringing it.

Just because a guy has one good season doesn't make him one of the best. Bob Sanders is overrated and I will continue to say that until he comes back for a full season to prove me wrong, AKA never.

That's everyone's gameplan against him...

It's about all you can do to stop him. Whether they will actually succeed or not is a different story, sure.

It used to be very possible to rattle Peyton back in the day when they scheduled Miami often. Nowadays, not so much.

And Bob Sanders is great, maybe one of the greatest (probably not though) IF he plays. But that is a very big if.
