So I am coming to the great white north here in the next few days. I was wondering what indoor paintball locations are open that are relatively close to I35. Im sort of looking for tourny level players but not a deal breaker i just wanna have some fun...

Well, there is Splatball, Inc. off of University Ave. but I don't think they do open play anymore. I really didn't care for their indoor field. The best indoor field would be Air Assault in Maple Plain. Check out their website airassaultpaintball.com they have pictures of the field, prices, and address. It's not very close to I35 but it's pretty much the only place, that I know of, here in the metro area. Hope that helps dude!

yeah helps out.. sad whats up with the indoor paintball scene that sucks.. i saw in rochester a soccer complex has bunker with reballz. any one try that place out it looks kinda rediculous but they have team play $300 for 3 hours but no paint fee or whatever.

go to air assault its the nicest indoor feild in the state with turn n stuff n good people to play with

I have gone here before. Was probably 4-5 years ago.

When I was there, we only had 8 people. We didnt pay $300 for 3 hours, was only $16 an hour(per person) and we went for 2 hours. They didnt set up the entire field, which I thought was dumb. Only had about 4-5 bunkers on a side. They have enough bunkers for a full field, but I think they were doing a half *** job that day. They did not have a HPA station, only Co2, I dont know what they have now, but I doubt they upgraded the tanks. After each game of playing with the reballs, we had to go around and pick up all the ****ing balls off the ground until we had a full hopper. They didnt let us go over to the bucket to get reballz not off the ground. Which was stupid cause I ended up getting a ton of crap in my hopper and gun after playing for the day. Really pissed me off. They kept all the reballs in a giant blue bucket with water in them, acting as lubricant I suppose. Overall I did not like it.
But this was 4-5 years ago and I do not know if anything has changed yet. If they specifically rent it out to teams, they pry have different rules and regulations. Just give them a call and see what they all have.

What about outdoor fields in MN relatively close to I-35 or what have you since its getting to be warmer weather...

MN Pro is only a couple miles off 35 in Lakeville.

Air Assault is work the time to drive there. Great field awesome turf and they use RPS Marballizer so you know you are getting a top level paint.

Yes A lot has changed.......
The owner finally got smart and got someone that knows somthing about paintball to run it. (first off)
We still only have a 3man bunker kit (16 bunkers) working on getting more.
We have co2 and air fills
We are now using true reballs and not the crappy mighty balls.( and no I don't "lube" them they shoot fine as is lol. As far as picking up the balls that Is why I have reffs under me. (I wouldn't want to pay to play and then get stuck with cleaning). only time I tell players to pick them up is when they run out and are crying in the middle of a game for more balls.
I have been managing the Reball at Soccer world now for the last year and some of horror stories I have heard before my time.. well, I'm wasn't sure if I should laugh or cry....
I won't say its better then indoor paintball, but it is cheaper and I make sure you leave happy and knowing you got your moneys worth.

So im makign my trip since the weather is a lil nice to the greath white north.. so i was seeing about outdoor field possibilities near I35 for the seasoned baller that wants to play some sup air or hyper ball. i wouldnt mind the woods but would like to play some good players
