MSXL is looking for ways to make paintball tournaments more affordable.
Some of the regional series have had positive feedback with running 3 prelim matches instead of 4. This would drop paint ussage by app. 25% or 5 cases at $40 a case =$200 a team or avg. $20 a player.
I looked at the results last year the team that advanced with 4 matches would have also adavanced with 3 exceptions 15% of the time.

As alsways the MSXL will listen to the players so guys you vote. Got 40 days.

i think the way you run it already is great and pretty cheap compared to psp.
we played the insane indoor, went to finals so we played 6 matches. shot roughly 25 cases and it only cost like 150 per person at the most.
you cant beat that. i think thats cheap enough personally.
i would rather play 4 prelim matches than play 3 and save 20 bucks a person but thats just me
