SuperStanchy freak bored mine. Works great with no issues. He bored it a short distance deeper to avoid the issue with the bolt protruding into the barrel. I also do not use the bolt oring and have seen no measurable changes in efficiency. If it matters I run it on CO2.

I like to use the SL on days where the rec scene is newb heavy. CO2 gives me the old school feel I'm looking for when I blast them up.

I would hesitate to put more than 850 psi into one of these old guns.

I just swapped in a super light valve spring and a much lighter hammer spring. I have not Chronographed yet, but it looks like ~280fps. The pump stroke is super light now. I have also lightened the sear spring with great success. Swapped the trigger spring. Shimmed the trigger to reduced side to side play and i have polished nearly everything that moves. 100$ gun shoots like a 300$ gun. Next i want to start playing with the valve.

This gun is super easy to improve on. Nearly everything is unfinished and over sprung from tippmann.
